Jean Yost has lived in Summerfield North since 2005 with her husband Ed. She is originally from the western suburbs of Chicago. Jean just retired from teaching mostly fifth grade and English as second language in Wake County Public Schools. She is happy about finally having some time to volunteer more at church and cook. You may have seen Ed and Jean walking their three year old Shetland Sheepdog (sheltie), Cody, in the neighborhood. He is currently being trained to run agility courses.

Crystian and Ben are both Second Degree Black Belts in Tae Kwon Do, and have converted their dining room into a martial arts training room to ensure they can get in workouts while raising their young family.  This is Crystian’s first time on the board and she looks forward to supporting the neighborhood!

Andrew PhillipsAndrew Phillips—Beautification

Andrew and his wife Gaby have been in Summerfield North since summer of 2011. He’s an army brat that’s lived mostly in the South, but was born in the great Midwestern state of Michigan (Go Tigers / Lions!). He is also a UNC grad with a passion for UNC football that can be described as “overzealous.” Most neighbors are familiar with Scout (a girl), the family schnauzer that enjoys jumping their fence to get to know the neighborhood–mostly the squirrels.  Andrew works as a project manager at SAS. Gaby and he really enjoy living in North Raleigh and the great people in Summerfield North.
